Ansrkash Rylinn'nddare was born about a century ago in the city of Eldant, the mysterious place where was said to be Elven biggest settlement in the Forest of Arvandor. She was born under the House of Rylinn'nddare, one of the respected house in Eldant. Her family was said to have a lineage of great and proud wizards, whilst her father, Kethan'inar Rylinn'nddare, was known as one among them. Being the only child of her parents, Ansrkash was taught about the many kind of knowledge, especially about arcane magics, since her childhood.
She was initially taught only by her father. Though, after a while, Kethan'inar decided to ask several fellow wizards to become Ansrkash mentors, due to his 'busyness'. Amongst them, there was a powerful wizard, who was also known to have a vast knowledge and wisdom about the world, and one of a few who had traveled around the land of Silvarion. However, this Elf was labelled as eccentric and shunned by other Elves, due to his different 'behavior' and 'view' about the outer world.
This wizard's name was Laindan Teasen'valsa. He was the first Elf besides Kethan'inar who taught her about arcane magic. It could be said that his presence had a special impression for Ansrkash compared to her other mentors, since he was not only merely taught her about magic, but also helped Ansrkash to find her 'talent' and 'interest' within the schools of arcanes much faster than other usually did.
Besides of those, Laindan also shares about his knowledge about the outer world, and many other things related to it, which was something that usually would be overlooked by other mentors and only being taught if asked. Well, not to mention they would be only told her the 'heavily one-sided view' version, much different and less interesting from what Laindan taught her. Because of this, Ansrkash was kind of looking forward for Laindan's lessons much more than other mentors. Without her realizing, her behavior had sparked the other mentors' resentment and jealousy towards Laindan...
However, after several years passed. everything began to change. At that time, suddenly Ansrkash became more and more seldom to meet Laindan. She was told that Laindan had to went somewhere to check something or to attend a meeting at the outside world, and so on. She was also told that this kind of circumtances would become more frequent in the future. Because of this, she can choose to have one of the other mentors to fill in her idle time, if she wants to. Otherwise, she had more free time for herself.
At first, Ansrkash didn't really mind for having more resting time. Especially, Laindan was not gone for a long time. Usually, he would only gone for a month and only once per two or three months, at most. However, over the time, he became more and more frequent to leave Eldant, and the period he was away became longer too. Spanned from a month per leaving to a year, from once per two or three months to one month between the leaving periods, and so on.
When it reached this point, Ansrkash asked Laindan whether he can do something about this, since she felt that she learned nothing much lately, as Leindan's mentoring sessions became more scarce than before. Meanwhile other mentors didn't help much about this matter either, even if she asked them.
Laindan responded her request by giving her a book with title [The People of Silvarion Kingdom] before he left once again. That book was looked like his personal journal and note from his journey. He told Ansrkash to read those in her free time. Though, Laindan also told Vandë for not neglecting the lessons from other mentors. If she did so, he will give her more book upon his return to Eldant.
The terms from Laindan was fairly easy for Ansrkash. Furthermore, being promised with more books if she fulfilled them made her become more obedient. Thus, the problems with Laindan's absence were solved. At least, for several years.
One day, Laindan told her that he would be away for longer than usual. He would be gone for at least a decade or so. Though, he felt it would be more likely if he expected to gone much longer than that. Because of this, Laindan left Ansrkash with more books than usual. He told her the same thing with back then, about when to read those books and not to neglect other lessons as well.
For the first several years, Ansrkash still heeded his words. But, after a while, she began to neglect her lessons from other mentors, and busying herself with the books which were given by Laindan. At first, she only ignored one mentors, whom she thought she won't gain much from that mentor's lessons. As the time passed, she slowly began to ignore another mentor, one after another, until she finally ignored all of them.
That situation remained for a while, until Kethan'inar found out about this. Upon learning about his daughter's behavior, he immediately barged into Ansrkash's room, and found her reading a book, when she was supposed to be taught by one of the mentors. She realized her father had entered her room, but she was not reacting fast enough when he took the book she was reading at that time.
He was already furious at that time, but he became more furious after he saw what kind of book that her daughter was reading. It was [The People of Silvarion Kingdom]. Without being able to do anything, Ansrkash could only see the first book that was given by Laindan, disintegrated and vanished in front of her eyes. Everything was not ended there, since the other books in her room were also taken by his father's attendants.
In an instance, the books inside her rooms, save for the books about arcanes, were gone. The only thing she could kept was just a single page of [The People of Silvarion Kingdom], which was torn when her father took the book from her...
...
Time flies by, and without notice, decades had passed. Under the strict supervision of her father, who decided to taught his daughter by himself, Ansrkash became a prominent wizard and also a proper daughter from the House of Rylinn'nddare. However, despite of those matters, sometimes she felt there was something missing, but unable to remember what was it.
Perhaps, the strictness of her father, added with the 'lectures' about the outer world which were crammed to her by other mentors, made her began to forget about what Laindan had taught her. To make things even worse, years after years had passed, but Laindan didn't appear, even once, during those times back then.
Then, one day, the long gone Elf, Laindan, finally went back to Eldant from his decades-long journey around the Silvarion Kingdom. Of course, Ansrkash was among the first people whom Laindan visits upon his arrival to Eldant. However, he noticed the changes on Ansrkash: from an Elven girl who showed great interest about the 'Outer World' and also a bit ignorant with her kins' general point of view about other races, to a woman with a prideful, high and mighty attitude, complete with the typical 'aloofness and arrogance' of the Eldant Elves.
Seeing this change, he asked Ansrkash about the books he gave her before he left. Being asked by that, suddenly she remembered about the single torn page of [The People of Silvarion Kingdom] which she managed to save back then. Seeing the only remains, Laindan seems to got the overall picture about what happened with them, and also Ansrkash. He decided to not ask any further about that matter.
Not long after Laindan's short arrival to Eldant, he already set for another journey again. Before he left, he gave Ansrkash his latest journals, serve the continuations for [The People of Silvarion Kingdom] which was already long lost. He gave the journals, even when he knew that she might not interested with this kind of matter anymore. Out of respect for the person whom she admired so much in decades ago, she accepted those journals.
And thus, Laindan set his foot again to the 'Outer World'...
...
Just after Laindan departed from Eldant, Ansrkash tried to read that last 'gifts' which was given by her former mentor. She read each page in the first journal thoroughly for days. As she read it, she felt there was something rekindled inside of her. That 'something' was felt very faint, but she somehow was sure it was indeed exist. Well, since she didn't really know what kind of feeling was that, Vandë decided to just continue reading the journals.
...
And another several years had passed again. There was an Elf who is preparing to leave Eldant. Though, this time it's not the 'adventurish' Elf, but his former pupil. Ansrkash, who once was very interested with the 'Outer World' of Eldant, once again felt a bit intrigued about the 'People of Silvarion', whom her former mentor seemed to be very interested with, to the border of being seen as obsessed by other Elves.
She wants to know, see, and feel it firsthand, about what those 'lowly people' have, which could made Laindan, someone whom she respected very much, stayed outside Eldant for decades only to learn more things about them.
Her first destination will be the Golden Wing Guild, which headquarter lies in Helionster. She decided to make that guild as the first step, since it was mentioned many times in the journals which Laindan gave her. She also registered herself with a different name; 'Vandë Túrwaithien', just because she wants to prove that her own effort, without any intervention from her family, will be more than enough to survive in this land of the 'lowly people'.
...
And now, the Golden Wing Guild's main building in Helionster 1st District lies in front of her eyes...
