What's the rule of upgrading magic items in here?
Can we upgrade a +1 weapon to +2 weapon? Do we need a PC/NPC, or can we do that as a "service" from a shop in Helionster? Same goes for items, can we upgrade a +1 bracer of armor to +2 bracer of armor? Do we need a PC/NPC, or can we do that as a "service" from a shop in Helionster? Can we stack effect with 1.5 times the price?

According to CGM: a. No Wondrous Item Upgrade. b. (possibly) Armor and Weapon Upgrade. c. Positively Dwarf PC can upgrade their Armor and Weapon.

So we can't upgrade our cloak of resistance? If we want the more powerful version, we have to buy the better version?
How about rings? can we upgrade rings?

I remembered CGM said that, at first no kind of upgrading is permitted, save for the dwarf PCs.
Then, after HEY JUDE patch, I remembered he said something about permiting Armor and Weapon (only) to be upgraded. And no other thing. (that actually already a plus, though, from a zero chance of upgrading anything).

brutuAs far as I remember, just as Admin said, CGM stated that only weapon and armor that can be upgraded. For other kind of magic items though, the only way to get the better version is to sell the old one (half price), and then buy/craft the new and better one (or maybe loot a better one )
